Q1: The device is offline , what should I do?

Here are the potential reasons and solutions for the device being offline:

a. The camera’s power connection may have been disconnected.

Solution: Check the power connection.

b. The Wi-Fi network name or password was changed, and the camera can’t connect to the Wi-Fi.

Solution: Remove the camera from your MIPC account, reset the camera for 10 seconds to restore it to factory settings, then re-add it following the instructions in the Quick Guide manual.

c. The network was not available for internet access.

Solution: Verify network settings and restart the router.

d. The Wi-Fi signal is poor.

Solution: If the camera is located far from the router, which results in a poor Wi-Fi signal, it is recommended to either move the router closer or add a Wi-Fi extender to improve home Wi-Fi performance.

Q2: What is the difference between manage passwords and visitors passwords?

Q4: Why is there no sound coming from the camera side when I’m speaking on the cellphone side?

To transmit audio, you should push and hold the microphone icon on the APP interface; simply clicking it doesn’t work. This feature is similar to PTT (Push-To-Talk) and requires releasing the button to listen.

Q5: How far can the camera be positioned from the router at most?

a. When the camera and the router are in the same space without any obstructions between them, the camera can be positioned up to 30 meters away from the router. Of course, the closer the camera is to the router, the stronger the Wi-Fi signal, and the more stable the camera’s Wi-Fi connection will be.

b. However, if the camera and the router are not in the same space and there are obstructions between them, the camera can be positioned at most 10 meters away from the router. The presence of obstructions significantly weakens the Wi-Fi signal, resulting in poor Wi-Fi signal strength and an unstable camera Wi-Fi connection, hence the reduced connection distance.

Q6: I’ve forgotten the MIPC APP login password. What should I do?

a. Please carefully check the password you input. Make sure it is correct and does not contain space. There is a grey “Little eye” icon at the left end of the password text frame. You can tap it to check the exact password characters you input.

b. There is a “Forgot password” option on the left bottom of the “Sign in” button for users in case users forget their login password. Please tap on it to enter page and start reset login password.
