Do the solar security cameras record 24/7 continuously?

No, the cameras will enter standby mode for saving the battery life when no motion triggers or user access. When motion triggers or user accesses the camera, it will wake up and start previewing and recording. The wake-up time is within one second.

Does it require internet connection to function? Can I connect the NVR to my network via Wi-Fi?

No. The system works without internet. Yes, you can either hardwire the NVR to your network with included network cable, or connect via Wi-Fi.

Do solar panels charge cameras on cloudy and rainy days?

Yes. The Yeewise all-weather solar panels do charge cameras on cloudy and rainy days, just not as effectively as they would on a sunny day. Our solar panels can generate electricity on cloudy and rainy days, they offer non-stop power for the cameras.

Can this be charged any other way than solar?

Yes. Simply connect it to a USB charger(NOT INCLUDED) using the provided USB cable.

What’s the WiFi distance from cameras to NVR?

In open space, the camera can be placed from the NVR for up to 1000ft in line of sight. The actual range will vary depending on a number of factors such as the thickness of walls, obstacles inside the house, and the location of NVR.
